Personal History
Grew up in the dirt as a baby, riding on my dad’s bikes. Started out on an old honda trail 70 and moved up to a Yamaha 90. Got my first race bike in 1997, a 96 yz80 and my father set jt up pretty healthy. Entered a few mx races. Nothing fancy. Continued riding and racing privateer. Riding anything from trails to track, single Track and freestyle. Even hit an airbag. For the last 5 years, I have participated in lots of events from the Washington state odessa 100 race and poker runs and iron man’s and fun runs. Other local and near by poker runs and scrambles. My home town of air way heights has a mx track and hosts 2 scrambles a year. We also have an out door and indoor flat track series in the summer and winter. I participate in the Silver mountain xc. I’ve even attempted to start a freestyle career, hitting ramp to dirt and an airbag.
Privateering is tough I am currently riding a 2013 yz450. I had bought it used a few years ago with 35 hours on it after having my other bike stolen out if my truck. 2 months ago, I blew it up with 237 hours on it, 5 sets of tires, 3 chains, a suspension rework, bearings, several plastic sets and other associated parts. I have painstakingly rebuilt this bike up from the ground and destruction from various events over time, always bettering it for my riding. This time, I had to do a full bottom to top rebuild. Working with my local dealer to acquire parts, I replaced every engine bearing, crank, rod, piston, cylinder, valves, cams and more inside my engine. I have built myself a nice little monster. And I love her.
Riding Goals
My biggest goal is to get down to the baja 500 or 1000. That's been an on going dream and I am working towards that everyday. I continue to practice and push myself to become a better rider. I'dike to compete in more events on a national level.
Competitive Highlights
I like to race in many different disciplines. Flat track, mx, sx, scrambles and enduros. I recreational ride in technical single track, open orv and were ever. I enjoy riding. When competing, I usually place on the podium or close. I have placed 2nd in my 2017 flat track winter series, and the 2018 series was a little hectic but I made 3rd. This 2019 Season I am sitting in 2nd in the points. In between these seasons of indoor winter flat track,i run and do decentin many scrambles and enduro events. Looking forward to entering more events this coming 2020 spring and summer seasons
2023/24 race season has started off great. I have picked up a new bike and began racing some indoor flat track. Placing 2nd in my classes so far. Waiting for the cross country and enduro circuits to began
