Rider Updates
May 25 2011
I want to thank all the people & my sponsors who supported me these past 5 years. However, racing must come to an end for a while. I am glad to see my riding progress this past year & am very happy I achieved an expert status. But, I was accepted into the Physicians Assistant program starting in the fall. I have worked hard in school this part year to make this happen and I finally reached my goal.

Well the first race back was Invaders MC on 8/24. It was a blast! The course really was alot of fun & it flowed nicely. It was great to see all my desert friends again after the 2 month break.
From the results on the finishing board it looks like I won my class. We'll have to see when the results come out in a few weeks.
As far as the points standings go, I am currently holding 3rd overall in desert & first ammie. With one more win I am hoping to get bumped up into the expert class. We'll see what happens though. There are a few more races this year so we'll see where the second half of the season takes me!

Hi everyone!
Well, so far this year has been good for me. The
summer break for desert season has officially started so I will take
this time to do some bike maintenance (Top end, suspension etc.). Since
I have signed up for the Best of the West series, there are 2 MX races
that I'll attend & a night team desert race that I'll be racing in
mid July. They should be fun. Season will resume again on Aug 23rd.
Our
steward has not posted mid-season standings yet, but according to my
list so far I stand in 3rd o/a desert woman, & first intermediate
woman. I think I have obtained enough wins so far to transfer out of
the intermediate class & into expert, we'll have to see when the
results are posted. I am very excited on how this year is going so far
& I really hope that I will get the expert transfer!
I'll let everyone know what is going on when results are posted!
Happy Racing!

Well the new season has started as of Jan 11. I just raced my first enduro last weekend. It was quite an experience & I really had a good time doing it.
This year I will be running my earned # of W7 & hope to transfer up to the expert class. It's a long year ahead so we'll see what happens!
This weekend is round 1 for the national hare & hound series. It should be fun. Hopefully, I'll do well but we'll see what the desert brings us! I'll keep everyone posted!

This is the final round of the national hare & hound series. It's going to be approx 110 miles of fun & challenging terrain. As an amateur woman racer I get the opportunity to start with the experts & go the whole distance. I am looking forward to racing & finishing this course. I will write a report when it's over. Wish me luck!

With the second half of the desert racing season starting on Aug 24th, I am curently in 9th o/a in the Womens standings. There are about 12-15 more desert races left, so I am going to try & shoot for a top 5 position for the end of the year. We'll see how it goes, with desert racing anything could happen!!
Thanks for the support!
