Personal History
I attend Purvis Middle School where i have retained the A B Honor role. I have always enjoyed racing in one form or another and have raced karts since I was 6 years old. My dad allowed me to start racing MX in march of 2011. I have only raced one outdoor series as of now and we are going to race the arena cross tour championship that starts in December 2011. I have trained with Shane Freeman at MLMX since March 2011 as I live next door to him and have access to both the MX and SX tracks for all the ride time and training I can handle. I have also trained with Glenn Herbert out of Kentwood, La. at New Talent Generation MX School. The only full series I have raced so far was the D19 Summer Night Series where I finished 4th in the points in the 85cc Beginner class. I also raced in two races of the Mississippi MX Championship Series where I finished 5th overall in the first and after a hard crash in the second I recieved a dnf. I also raced in a ponca quilifier where I finished 5th overall. it was my first actual race and my dad wasnt ready for me to persue it any further.
Riding Goals
My first goal for this year is to get an overall win and finish in the top 3 of the areana cross tour Series. I also would like to make it to ponca, mini o's, and try my best to make it to loretta's I know the last is a goal that most think is out of reach for 2012 but I plan to work very hard to accomplish these goals.
Competitive Highlights
The best finish I have had to this point was a 3rd in round 1 of the D19 Series. But my favorite race was round 2 where I went down in turn one and got up last out of 21 riders and came back to get 7th. Also my first race was a ponca qualifier and I will never forget the feeling I had at the end of the first moto. It by far was the best feeling I have ever had after any of my kart race wins and I have had alot of wins in kart racing. My dad was shaking from nerves and it was a great moment I will never forget.
