Personal History
My name is Tony Elmore, I am 46 years old and I love to ride Off-road, Enduro and Dual Sport. I currently reside in Fremont, CA. I currently ride a KTM 300XC-W, and compete in AMA District 36. I currently race the A Senior class in the D36 Enduro series.
I have been a Machinist for almost 25 years, I currently Manage a Machine Shop at a medical device company in the South Bay, we produce Titanium components for a spinal implant. I have been at this company for 18yrs.
I am a member of the Oakland Motorcycle Club, we host a Timekeeper Enduro named "Jackhammer" which is a part of the fall Enduro series in AMA District 36. This will be our 51st annual event. My contributions to the event are mapping out the course, creating a route sheet, organizing pre-ride and sweep teams, setup and tear down.
I started racing Enduro's in 1994, ironically the first Enduro I rode was the Jackhammer hosted by Oakland MC. About 10 years later a buddy and I decided to join the Oakland MC and begin contributing to the event.
Riding Goals
My goals are to ride the entire D36 Enduro series and finish in the top 3 of the A Senior Class. Moving on to the future I would like to continue racing the D36 Enduro Series and mix in a few Cross Country Hare Scrambles event as well, specifically new venues I haven't ridden yet.
I would like to spend time riding dual sport events, you get to see a lot of really amazing places you can't see from inside a car. Most favorite dual sport rides are the on the California coast and also in Yosemite. A goal I have it to ride through as many National Parks I can on a dual sport.
