Personal History
Hi, my name is Tommy Young. I got an xr 100 on christmas day in 2009. I rode it for about 3 months and it lost compression. A month or 2 later my stepdad found a 99 yz 125 for sale. We got enough money to buy it and thats when it all happened. Ive been riding for about a year and Im currently racing in the 2011 Arenacross AX tour in mississippi. I have not been able to make it to all races because of the lack of money, but in the races I have entered I have gotten top 10 or 5th. I am hoping to race the remaining races in the AX series and have a good outdoor season.

Some of my goals for the upcoming year include moving up to C class and qualifying for Ponca.
Competitive Highlights
My first race was on January 22 and I was racing in Hattiesburg, Ms and it was an Arenacross. I only got one practice because of a bad spark plug. I got 10th in the afternoon race and 8th in the night race. I got the holeshot but because I was not good at whoops, I lost my podium position. Then the weekend after I raced in Philidelphia, Ms. Things happened a little different and I got to practice both rounds. During the afternoon race I got the holeshot again and finished 3rd. During the night race I didnt get such good a start and got 5th.
