Personal History
I started riding motorcycles at age 9 on a Honda XR80. I started racing District 14 Hare Scrambles in 2001 on a Honda CR125. I made the switch to KTM in 2003 when I moved up to the 3-Hour solo class where I won the State Class Championship. My 2004 season was cut short when I moved away from home to attend college at Michigan Technological University. I continuted to ride but only raced a couple of races per year while I attended collge. I worked in the engineering department at Harley-Davidson Motor Co. in Tomahawk, WI for 8 months as a engineering co-op through MTU. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2009 and started competing in the District 14 Enduro series, winning the Open B Class State Championship.
The 2010 season has been by far, the most fun year of my career. Myself and five other local riders competed in the majority of the AMA/Rekluse National Enduro Series. I had a good year, consistently placing within the top 15 overall in the B class and top 5 in the 250 B class. I ended the year in 2nd place in the points standings in the 250 B class and earned advancment to the A class for the 2011 season.
