Personal History
Raced motorcycles in one form or another for over 20 years before concentrating on my family life. My son requested I show him the ropes, so last year we started racing some vintage races and it has become a family affair now. Racing the vintage bikes really got my hunger back for the modern bikes so I borrowed a newer KTM and raced at Washougal to try it out. This year I will mostly be racing modern races on my KTM 350SXF and also racing the entire vintage series with my family.
As a former pro racer I know the importance of racing presentation both for the bike and the racer. I have had full sponsorships from some great companies in the past including Dunlop, Arai, Motorex, EBC, VP. I cherish all support received and represent these companies with the highest standards.
Riding Goals
For 2019 I will race the PNW Vintage series on several different bikes including
1981 YZ465, 1986 CR250, 1994 CR125, 1984 ATK 560, 1993 ATK406
I will also race several vet races on a 2018 KTM 350SXF including Washougal international race and Glen Helen Vet Nationals
Locally I will race the Pacific Raceways Friday night series and various weekend events.
Competitive Highlights
Raced MX 1987-1997 winning several championships on the way to finishing in the intermediate (B) class
Raced Superbikes 1997-2008 winning several championships on the way to gaining pro status and racing in the AMA superbike series.
Raced Vintage 2018
