Personal History

Growing up, I've always had a love for dirtbikes. I finally talked my parents into buying me a bike when I was 11 years old and got into racing soon after. I began going to a few on a 80cc and started to get a really serious once I got into the 125cc class. I raced all througg high school until I graduated and went off to college to start my career as a Millwright. Along with my passion to ride dirtbikes in summers, I had to find a hobby as we have long, cold winters here in Canada. I took up snowmobiling and ride the back country in British Colombia to this day. It wasnt always easy for me to get into these types of sports as my family is heavily into the farming and rodeo business. My family has always followed my oldest brothers career as a professional bullrider/bareback and it was my middle brother who introduced me into motorsports before he passed away. I recently helped my hometown build a motorcross track and I currently sit as Director on the board. I love helping bring a safe place for local kids to learn to ride and see their passion for dirtbikes.

Riding Goals

After having to stop racing to start my career, I continued to ride recreationally. I decided to get back into racing competitively after having 2 boys of my own and of which 1 is racing as well. I wanted them to enjoy the passion that I have for this sport. I started to enter myself in local races around Alberta and seem to be doing pretty well considering the time Ive been away from it. I plan to enter the Vets Master and +30 Master Class after finishing 1st overall in +30 Expert and Vet Intermediate.

Competitive Highlights

In the past few years, I've been racing local races and have been in the top 3 almost every race. In the 2016 season, I ended up finishing 1st Overall in all +30 Expert races eelven though I had to miss a few due to work. I ended up 2nd Overall in the AOTMX Series in the same class and plan on racing the +30 Master Class in 2017. I also completed the Wildrose Motocross Fall Series and ended up 1st Overall in the Vet Intermediate class and hope to race the Spring and Fall Series in 2017 as a Vet Master.
