Personal History
I am a dad with two sons and work as a city fire captain and EMT. Ive been doing that for over 27 years. I am currently racing a 2023 Honda CRF250R, and a back up 2020 CRF250R. I typically race in the 40+ and 50+ novice classe, and also sometimes Open Novice or Big Bike classes. We currently live in Chandler, AZ.
I have ridden since about 1980, riding on Honda XR75s, XR80s, XR100s and a CR80. Back then we rode at tracks we built and occasionally at Saddleback Park, in Orange County, CA, where I grew up. I raced in the early 200s on a 1998 Honda CR250R. I raced at the now closed Speed World raceway near Wittman, AZ. I raced in the 250cc Beginner/novice class. I also raced several times in the Fire and Police Motocross series in southern California, at the time held at Glen Helen.
Most recently, I have been racing at Arizona Cycle Park in Buckeye, Arizona, in their Saturday Motocross Series (SMX). I also race in the Fire Police MX National series, World Vet MX at Glen Helen, CA, and will be trying the AMA Arenacross in Prescott, AZ in January 2023.
