Personal History
I'm an eight grader at West Lincoln Middle School. I'm a member of student council and an A/B (and so close to A) honor roll student. I love music. I play percussion in the middle school band. I am a saxophone player for the eighth grade jazz band. My love for music taught myself to also play clarinet and piano. I love and enjoy going to school. My other hobbies that keep me occupied out of school include riding and camping. Spring and summers here in North Carolina are excellent for riding and practicing on my dirt bike. I love going camping with friends and family. Sometimes we get the pleasure of combining both at times.
Riding Goals
My goals for this upcoming year is to always continue to ride better and improve on all areas of riding. I raced my first hare scramble for the NCHSA series this year in October. I was extremely nervous at first, but super proud of myself for finishing ninth place. I was hooked. I hope to expand my riding options this year and hit some more woods. Motocross was my first love when I started on my 50cc bike. I hope to increase my first place wins this year, although last year was a great year for first place finishes for me. It's just me and my bike on the line when the gate drops. To succeed in being the first one off the gate. Not to brag on myself but I'm great on hole shots. It's just neck and neck with my opponents. We race from gate drop to checkered flag. When the helmets come off, they're my best friends. Some of the best times are on the track or around a camp fire. I'm thankful for my sponsors for giving me a chance, and encouraging me in racing. I hope to make each one proud to have me, Toby Lewis, as one of their riders.
