Personal History

Thank you for considering me to represent your product or service.  My name is TJ and I'm a 7 year old motocross rider/racer from northern Florida.  I started riding at the age of 4 on my Yamaha PW50 but have since ridden a Honda CRF50, Suzuki JR50, Suzuki DRZ70, KTM 50 SX mini, a Cobra CX50 Senior, a Cobra RX50 Senior and, due to my height, my current bikes are Kawasaki KX65's.  I'm home schooled and currently study at a fourth and fifth grade level in several subjects.  I enjoy cross training on my BMX bike and I've recently joined a swim team.  Cooking and building Legos are some of my other hobbies.

My coach/mechanic (Dad) is a former Team Green rider who appreciated tremendous sponsor support from Kawasaki Motors Corp USA, Scott USA, Maxima Racing Lubricants, RK Chain, Boyesen Racing, clothing sponsors AXO and O'neal.  He won six state MX titles in the northeast including the highly competitive1988 125 and 250 pro/expert class Championships in Metropolitan Sports Committee, also the original proving grounds for riders like Justin Barcia, Phil Nicoletti, Ryan Mills and Scott Sheak.  He also raced to a top 5 Loretta Lynn Amateur national finish with broken fingers suffered in a Ponca City crash the previous week.

My mother and father are both Doctors of Chiropractic.  They are very interested in getting me associated with companies carrying the best, latest, safest, most ergonomic products and feel they're excellent representatives for motocross safety gear given their backgrounds in human anatomy and biomechanics.  We'd like to build a long term relationship with a few companies rather than a short term relationships with many companies.  Product loyalty is important to us.  Our family has begun to search, out west, for a large property to build our own MX track.  This will allow me to increase my practice schedule and Dad can customize obstacles according to my skill level.  Dad attended four Gary Bailey motocross schools and he shares with me all he has learned.

Riding Goals

2014 was mostly riding at practice tracks adapting to the larger "senior" 50cc because I grew so tall at a young age.  I have also focused on building my strength to handle my bigger motorcycle better.  At 6 I was a bit younger than other kids riding the larger 50cc Senior bikes.  Swimming has really helped build strength and endurance.  I ride open practice days on local motocross tracks even on days so brutal that nobody else shows up to brave the Florida heat.  I'm always the last kid at the track when everyone else has gone home.

My immediate goals are to build a winning program at the local level while our family speaks about the benefits of your product/service with people we meet.  We would also make ourselves available for any advertising campaigns/commercials you decide to run.  I planned to continue racing the GA/FL area in the 50cc class until our move westward but my height has made me a better fit for my new Kawasaki KX65's even though I just turned 7.  We'll soon go full time RV'ing in our quest to find our new home and build a personal track.  I love my new motorcycles and can't wait to put it on the podium again.

We have an RV and an enclosed trailer that offers great exposure for your product logo placement as we travel.  We recently traveled 2,500 miles with it to purchase my two new bikes in Pennsylvania on one trip.  I'll proudly display your company stickers on my bike’s swingarm, fenders, jersey and trailer and thank you after any podium finish or interview. I'll also pass out product stickers, samples or gift certificates at the track and hang banners.  Eventually, when my strength catches up to my height, I'd like to go to Loretta Lynn's to gain exposure on a national level.  I'll also go to regional events as I become fast enough to make a greater impact and increase my value to you as your spokesperson as time moves forward.  I realize I'm still very new to racing and that some riders have more experience but we'll bring a great deal of respect to your product as a hard working family.

I hope one day to build a solid professional racing program much like my favorite rider Ryan Dungey.  I realize this goal requires tons of hard work, dedication and a relentless "never give up" attitude not to mention a great deal of support from my family.  I'm an extremely hard worker, as proven by my educational accomplishments.

Competitive Highlights

2012 Dec. 7 Started racing a Redline Mini BMX bike just after turning four where I won my first trophy for third place at Jacksonville BMX.

2013 Raced my first motocross race at Dirt Farm MX in GA where I took second place overall on my Yamaha PW50 in the 51cc 4-6 class.

2013 Attemped to race my first Loretta Lynn Area Qualifer in Marion County FL but had a poor day due to an intermittent stator issue.  I was sad but it was out of my control.

  2014 Practiced MX regularly.

2015 June-August  I started swimming daily and passed a swim test.  I can now swim laps with ease and I'm learning proper stroke techniques with a club called the Boomers.  It's helping both my endurance and strength for motocross.

2015 August 9  I scored a 3rd overall with 2-3 moto finishes in the 51cc beginner class at North Florida Motocross after being away from racing for a couple years.  I really missed racing while away.
