Rider Updates
Jul 11 2023
Well, this season has turned out to be a dud. My lingering ankle injury has put a serious damper on my riding. To top it off, my main bike has suffered a catastrophic engine failure. Not wanting to injure myself further, I've been taking practice laps on a much older machine. I'd like to thank my sponsors for their support and standing behind me during this time.

Season opener was a good time. Rode a bike I haven't ridden in 4 years. You really see where you stand on a small bore 2-stroke. At the end of the day, I had a good time with a 13th overall. My jetting was slightly off, so I didn't put myself in a bad place by pushing to hard. Big thank you to my sponsors and supporters. Thank you Matrix Concepts, and Ride Engineering for you support. I hope I can provide good results using their products.

Well I can't believe how fast this year blew by. Seems like the race season just started last week. The year almost ended early for me, with an ankle injury. I sucked it up and took a week off and continued to race through the pain. My efforts netted me a 3rd overall in Senior +40b/c and 5th overall in Super Senior 50+. In a separate series within the district 16 series, Sponsored by Race Driven KTM, I took 8th in Sr 50+ and 11th in Sr 40+. Now is a time to recover and prepare for next year. Thank you to all my sponsors who supported me with great products and customer service! See you all again soon!

Welcome to 2021! It's a new year and a new program. With 2020 behind us, it's time to prepare for the next phase of life. This race season I turn 50. Which means that I join the 50+ Super Senior class. This season I will be competing in 40+ b/c and 50+. That's two chances to make it to Loretta Lynn's. It will take a lot of time and focus to train for this event. I made the regional qualifier at Spring Creek in 2019, but was crashed out. New year, new mindset. In 2020 I placed tied for 11th place in D16 Senior 40+b/c. I was only able to make 7 events, and struggled with set up. The last 2 races it finally came around and the potential was shown. So I can only improve from here. I would like to thank my sponsors, Factory Backing Graphics, Factory Seat, and Flow Vision for their support. And I would like to welcome Flo Motorsports and Matrix Concepts aboard for the 2021 season.

Well what can I say about the 2020 season? First off, I'm glad we actually had the opportunity to race at all this year. I believe 2020 has been a challenge to all of us. But like everything, we will preserver and move forward. That being said, my results haven't been what I expected. Riding a new bike and sorting out the susspension has been challenging for me. The last I checked I was in 10th place in 40+ b/c. Not as well as I wanted to be, but all thing concidered, I'll take it. Thank you to my sponsors for the support and encouragement. #factorybackinggraphics #factoryseat #flowvisonco

As the 2020 season approaches, I'm glad to announce that my daughter will be joining me at select race events throughout the year. Most likely she will race the GP events and the enduro style MX track race's. This makes me one proud Papa!

2020 is looking to be a great year already. I recently purchased a bike that is far beyond what I've been riding in year's past. This year I will be riding a 2019 Kawasaki KX 450. Will it help me preform better? Who's to say. But I have a good outlook on this year's race season. Thank you to any potential sponsors who may look at this update!

Well, October 13th was the wrap to my season. My main goal was to finish well in the Sr. 40+b/c class. Not having the best year, I did manage 16th. I did run a few different classes this year, earning points in Vet 30b/c and in Sr 40+A. Had to run in 40+A to qualify for the Lorreta's regional qualifier. It was fun and I made to Millville to crash out hard in practice. I learned a few things along the way and met a whole bunch of great poeple! I didn't race as much as I would have liked, but mechanical issues and a couple injuries kept me on the sideline. Out of 22 district point races I made it to only 7. So I guess I can't complain one bit about 16th place. I would like to thank all my family, supporters, and sponsors that helped make it all possible! @protaper @riskracing @factorybacking @flowvisonco @mikesmotorsports @isleedgetrucking

Now with a few events in the book, my season is underway. Not exactly as I had planned of course. I'm on my third bike so far this year and the learning curve is steep. One hour of practice and Loaded up for a LLQ. Amazing enough I qualified. But as my luck would have it, I was clipped out of the sky by another rider. My weekend ended with a very swollen knee and a brace. But I had a great time for my first trip to Spring Creek Motocross park! I'd like to thank my sponsors for all they're support. Without them this season wouldn't be possible. So thank you to Pro Taper, Factory Backing Graphics, Flow Vision, and Risk Racing.

Well it's been a rough start to the year. First event was called for weather. Did ok the second but should have done better. Third event I cooked the clutch and overheated my bike. So this week is repairs and testing for the area LLQ. Truly hoping this week turns things around and I start to make up some ground. Thank you to my Sponsor's and Supporter's who help make it all possible.

I'm back and preparing for a fresh start and run for a championship in the 2019 D16 Mx season. I look forward to hear from sponsors and anyone who would just like to talk shop.

It was fun while it lasted, but the race season is now over. It wasn't the year I wanted, but better then last season. Thank you to all the sponsors who made it possible for me to run strong and look good. I was only able to run 3 point races, but managed to take 50th in points in the senior 40+

It's getting cold here in Wisconsin , but my bike is running great . My season started slow with too many part failures to count. With only two races left in the season , I can only look forward to next season. I would like to take a moment to thank all my sponsors . Thank you to Pro Taper for the excellent controls , Outlaw Racing Products for the billit parts and the little overlooked items to make a race go smoothly ,Factory Backing Graphics for making my old bike look sharp,Smith Optics for crystal clear optics, Lucas Oil for keeping my bike running top notch .I'm hoping to see all these sponsors again next season to make a full effort to attack a championship .

Didn't do as well as I thought, but had a great day! Still some jetting work to do, but really close. Had a 27th overall in Vet30b/c and a 20th overall in Senior 40+. Looking to put myself in the top10 by season's end. Thank you to all my sponsor's, Pro Taper for great bar's, grip's and sprocket's. Smith optic's, it was a clear bright day, my Smith goggles gave me clear vision all day. ASV lever's worked perfect. Outlaw product kept my bike together and looking sharp and goggles clean. Factory Backing Graphics make my old bike look as good as the new one's. And Lucas Oil for keeping my bike running top notch!!!

Finally got my bike running fight and to the track! Good day of practice. Thank you to all my sponsor's for your support! It's been a rough start to the season with too many part failure's to mention, but I'm ready for the next race.

After mother nature finally allowed spring to return to Wisconsin and some small equipment failures, we are ready to race in the badger state! Heading out for a full shake down this weekend with my daughter. Great Rides Everyone!?
