Personal History
I am 9 years old. I am in the 4th grade at Dexter Elementary School in Dexter Kansas and I have 4.0 gpa. My favorite subject is math and of course PE. My other hobbies are playing football, basketball with my friends, mountain biking and fishing.
In 2009 for my 4th birthday I got a Honda CRF50 from mom and dad. Dad also bought a CRF70 for him too cruise around with me on. We rode in the yard and gravel roads till around July 2011 when a guy my dad works with invited us to a motocross track for a fun ride day. We went too that same track every Sunday for the next 6 months.
January 2012 the guy at dads work invited us to go watch an arenacross race at Lazy E arena in Guthrie Oklahoma…. It was awesome. After that I knew I wanted to ride in something like that. April fool’s day 2012 we went to my first motocross race at Inman Kansas. I rode my Honda 50 in the Pee Wee Jr and Open classes, needless to say I ended up dead last but I had a blast.
After that we couldn’t make a few races and my next race was Jeeps Park City Supercross at Jeeps Motorcycle Club in Park City Kansas. I rode the 50 for a few races then moved up too my dad’s 70. At the end of the season I got a 2010 KTM 50 SX which I raced the rest of the 2012 motocross season on and throughout most of the 2013 season. I also started riding the 65 jr class on a KTM 65 in April of 2013…wow what a change that was.
The end of the 2013 season I started riding a Cobra 50 SR which this bike was a much better fit for me in return the speed and results showed.
Riding Goals
For the 2014 season we have chosen too race fewer events targeting the bigger events with potentially fuller gates. When not racing I plan on working on corner speed, entering, through and exiting. Jumps are still my sore spot and with all hopes of erasing the fear of jumping by the end of the 2014 season.
Competitive Highlights
Since we have only been racing about a year and a half I can't say I have had too many "highlights" but I have won several races both MX and SX. I have many top 5 year end awards but unfortunately the #1 spot has not been mine yet.
