Rider Updates

This sport is the greatest. I have been teaching my son who is now 7 years old to ride. He is flying and as much as it makes me nervous it is so awsome to watch. He has been at races and wants to start himself. Everyone at the races are so great to be around, much different than so many other sports. I have been showing my son the ropes and the importance of being friendly and helping people out so he realizes the great sport motocross is and wants to get more involved. I hope all the companies that look at and support us on this site are ready for a great up and coming rider. See you at the races.

Hit the track for the first time in what felt like forever. Raced two classes and watched as my little boy raced for the second time.
Moto 1 for me was the +25 expert class with 17 riders signed up. I got a bad start and found my way battling through the pack. I ended up 3rd, I was very happy with that since the time frame I was off my bike.
Moto 2 was about the same, bad start, slow to get by a few riders but a late crash in front of me haded me 2nd for 2nd overall.
1st moto class #2 +30 eexpert was about the same but I ended up with a late pass for the win!!
Moto 2 I pulled a hole shot and never looked back.
Man I realize now how much this sport I missed.
My little 7 year old hit the 50cc class on his 50cc KTM senior and looked great. he finished 3rd out of 11 racers.
Thank god we have a sport like this where so many great people can get together and enjoy a Sunday of fun racing.

After about a year away from racing, I am returning. I started a new job and taught my son to ride. I am back and ready to start racing with my seven year old son. I cannot wait, I sold my two stroke and bought a 450 four stroke.
