Personal History
My name is Tim Bergeron and I am 32 years old. I am a full time fire fighter for Galveston Fire Department. I started racing about 2 years ago after I got out of the Navy. I am also a husband and a father. My daughter loves going to the races so we are typically racing every weekend. My wife likes the traveling aspect of it so we try and hit all the bigger races.
Riding Goals
My ultimate goal this year is to make it to Loretta Lynns in the 30+ and/or 450 C. I am also racing the EMX series and the prize for the top two in each vet class is having your bike brought to and from the vet world classic in Glenn Helen. Racing the Vet world is a high goal for me as well. Also I am going to try and defend my Texas State Championship in the 30+ this year as well. I will also be making my way to the pro challenge at Swan and Ponca city. I'd like to make as many big national races as possible and place well.
Competitive Highlights
Since I have only been riding for about two years my highlight list maybe shorter than other but I assure you the races I did do well in were hard fought and well earned.
1st 30+ 2018 Texas State Championship
2nd 25+ 2018 Texas State Championship
2nd 450 C SC area qualifier at 3 Palms MX
3rd 30+ SC area qualifier at 3 Palms MX
I was not able to attend enough races in the district championship to qualify for series over all but the races I did attend I placed top two in all.
