Personal History
My name is Thomas Hutchinson, and I’m a freshman at Vandegrift High School in Austin, TX. I absolutely love riding motocross; it’s one of my favorite things to do! I also play lacrosse, which is super fun and a great way to hang out with friends. I come from a family of five, and we always support each other in everything we do. Whether it’s racing on the weekends or cheering each other on at games, we always have a great time together!
Riding Goals
I really want to take my motocross career to the next level by winning the D20 Motocross Series. It’s been a big goal of mine for a while now! To get ready for that, I’m planning to race in the Texas AMA Winter Series and the Spring A Ding events. I think these races will help me improve my skills and get more experience on the track. I’m super excited to see what I can achieve.
Competitive Highlights
So far, my luck hasn’t been great in racing. I recently finished 14th at the Winter Series race because my holeshot device broke, which caused my suspension to get stuck. Then, during the first moto at the Loretta Lynn’s area qualifier, I broke my collarbone and was out for six weeks. However, I’ve recently returned and am ready to get back to training. I plan to work as hard as I can and really put in the effort to do my best and win. I'm determined to turn things around this season!
