Personal History
I am 60 years young riding and racing off road since 1978-1979.
I have been working as an ASE certified mechanic for 44 years which has supported 4 children and wife of 30 years.
Own a company that sets up, promotes and scores Hare Scrambles and Enduros in Michigan.
As Legislative Director of the AMA District 14 I work with local, State and Federal government agencies to ensure continued riding opportunities inMichigan.
I Formally served as a Governor Appointee to Michigan Trails Advisory Council, which Advises the Governor and Department of Natural Resources on Trails whether Hiker, Biker, Equestrian, or motorized (ORV and Snowmobile).
I own my own promotion business Michigan Off Road Events LLC that Promotes and scores off road events.
Riding Goals
My 2025 Plan is to continue to ride the AMA District 14 Enduro series, which consists of 8 races in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.
Race Select Hare Scrambles in the AMA District 14 Hare Scambles Series.
Plan on at least 1 motocross to prove again I'm not too old.
Competitive Highlights
I came out of retirement in 2020 having not raced competitively since 2007 finishing 2nd in the AMA District 14 Hare scramble's Series in the B Team Class with my son. In the 2020 abbreviated season I was 3rd in the D14 Enduro series in 50 + class.
2003 4th place in the AMA National Enduro series in the B200 class and 1st in the B200 Class in the AMA District 14 Series.
