Personal History
I am a Dad of 5 and married to my best friend! I have 3 girls and 2 boys and we love to ride! I was fortunate to have a father who taught me to ride and now I get to teach my kids. My favorite childhood memories are riding with my dad and friends.
My dad was military (Navy) and a government contractor so we moved every 3 years. This allowed me to ride in many places and in different disciplines, from desert riding in AZ to Hare Scramble races in VA. I have fond memories of racing at Budds Creek as a teenager. We currently live in Utah and spend most of our time riding single track in the mountains.
I have a degree in Air Traffic Control and have spent my career in the financial services industry. From Bank Manager to now Business Advisor I have a background working with business leaders in Utah.
I started Moto Family Adventures to connect with businesses in the moto community and to inspire families to ride more, strengthen relationships and create lifelong memories together. We ride weekly 9 months out of the year and at least monthly through the holiday season.
Riding Goals
I ride because I believe our purpose in this life is to be happy and have fun. There is no better way to experience this sense of happiness than through the hard work and sense of accomplishment that only come through the sport of moto. I work full time to support my family and ride to feel alive!
I believe riding brings a "high" of fun to life. We take risks, make hundreds of decisions, dedicate time, work, focus, and learn every time we throw a leg over a dirt bike. We fall, we crash, we get injured, and look forward to the next ride. Moto teaches that life is valuable, that we can do hard things, we can persevere when most give up. I believe when a family can experience this type of learning in a safe environment we can raise the next generation of leaders!
My goals for this year and next is to grow my audience within my niche of families in moto. By the end of 2024 we will have over 10k followers and partner with strategic businesses to inspire more families to get involved or spend more time together riding. We are also joining a local mx club to be more involved in our local community.
Competitive Highlights
I started Moto Family Adventure 1 year ago at 0 and we already have over 6k followers on Facebook and more than 4k on Instagram. We have a competitive advantage because we are the average moto family and main consumers in the industry. We can relate with passions, desires, dreams, concerns, and hesitations that most families experience. Together, with this knowledge and the understanding that businesses face, we can create win-win situations to help you achieve your goals. I believe in ROI and have a system to show that you will get more in return when we partner together.
