Personal History
My passion for off road motorcycles began stems from my dad's love of motorcycles. In 1995 my father brought home a 1973 Suzuki Jr50. Ever since that first ride I was hooked. Throughout the years we would go on family trail rides in Northern Idaho, Nevada, Washington and Oregon. My dad was always pushing me to reach his level of riding. When I was in Jr. High and Highschool I really wanted to start racing motorcycles, but did not feel I could race at a competitive level on a 20yr old XR100 and the fact that I lived in small rural areas where I would have to travel long distances for races. After highschool I attended college and earned a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management. I also met my wife in college, and we now have 2 sons. I took my first job in Hawaii, and I really wanted to get back on a motorcycle, but with a new and demanding career and a newborn son, I didn't have the time.
Shortly after moving back to Seattle, I found a good deal on a 2005 WR250F. After some new parts and some hours of wrenching I was able to resurrect the dirt bike just in time for the Desert 100 (My first race).
I do all of my own maintenance and repairs. Your support is appreciated and will be reciprocated. Thank you for viewing my profile.
