Personal History
I have a very supportive family who dedicate a lot of time and money into my sport, which I think is a vital step in making a good motocross rider and be able to dedicate enough time to improve and become good. I am currently an apprentice carpenter which helps me a lot with motocross as I’m constantly moving and never sat idle. I also train in the gym 6 nights a week and I try to ride 2-3. I take my training very seriously. In which all of my training is specifically tailored for motocross and being more bike fit. I would say that I am very dedicated to the sport and have no intentions of messing around or loosing focus, my main aim is to do well. The training aspect is not hard for me as I enjoy riding my bike so much making it very easy to keep that discipline and motivation in the gym. All I look forward to all week is going to ride on the weekend and trying my best to win.
Riding Goals
My goals for the 2023 season are in the British championship, I really want some good results through the season and toward the end of the season perhaps even better ones. If this season works at well for me I will continue on the 125 next year and compete in the British championship and hopefully selected European ones too. I really just hope to get on the podium this year and next, maybe even the top step. I will also be doing some smaller events to fill weekends that I’m not at practice tracks so that I can still maintain my race craft and rêve fitness for those events I am just going out with the intention to win.
Competitive Highlights
2022 was a bit of an up and down year for me as it was the 2nd year on big bikes and my first year on a 250 (although I have swapped back to a 125 now) towards the end of the season I competed in a few bigger competitions like the mx nationals, at first I was just settling into the nationals as it was my first of the season and I rode okay. Unfortunately I had a bike malfunction causing me to come off and break my ribs in the third race meaning that I could not compete to a high enough standard. Although I still walked away with 11th in two races which I am happy with for now. I have also had some top 5s some second places at smaller events such as club meetings (more regional level).
