Rider Updates

Havn't been on the website in a while but Balboa Racing is still doing great. Headed out to Pagoda last week and all of us finished well. Check results to see where we all finished. As for riding, weve just been free riding a lot and practicing. Also been tearing up the englishtown pit bike scene. Dalton won the 12" stock adult class championship, Dominick won the 10" stock adult class championship, and I won the 10" mod adult class championship. Thats 3 championships for Balboa Racing! We're gonna try and keep riding more this year depending on the weather so make sure to check back in and see whats new.

This weekend we headed up to Irish Valley MX for an all day ride. We had a blast and both my brother and me were riding great. The track was in supreme condition and we had no complaints. Thanks to Irish Valley for the awesome day and a gnarly track. Pics will be posted as soon as possible. | ||||||

We went up to Evansville raceway and raced this Sunday. It was an ok race we both rode great and had an awesome day of racing. The first moto was ok. Dalton was pretty far back off the start and so was I. I ended up falling after trying to pass a kid and I dropped from 7th to 9th. I finished out 9th and Dalton finished in 8th place after charging back from his start. Dalton (8-8) 8th Overall. Hayden (9-9) 9th Overall. Overall the weekend was a fun and challenging time. Next race is undecided but should be soon
Second moto was off to a great start. Dalton got 4th off the start and I was right there with him in 5th. Then I took the 4th spot and my brother and I were solid top 5 riders and probably would have finished there but my luck went bad. I was going down a straight and my front end swapped causing a nasty crash that consumed me and my brother. We both got up to finish out with an 8th and a 9th once again. OVerall results:

July is already off to a great start. The whole team took tuesday the 1st to go for a practice ride up at a buddy's place in Pennsylvania. The track was simple yet real fast and had a lot of wide open spots and provided a solid day of riding for the team. No pics this time but next race there will be. Thats all for now until race day. Thanks for the ride day Jimmy and family.

This past weekend Balboa Racing headed up to Sleepy Mx for the Fathers Day weekend. Hayden Balboa and Dalton Balboa both lined up at the gate in the 250 C class. Both riders raced real well. Dalton Balboa finished up with a 27-25 moto score and 25th overall and Hayden Balboa went 16-27 moto score for 22nd overall. Once again another killer day of racing for Balboa Racing. Next race is probably sometime in late June.

Mike Balboa lined up this weekend (May 11th) for the Irish Valley Mothers Day Harescramble. After a challenging two hours of racing Mike came out with a 6th place finish and made the team real proud taking home a nice trophy. Congrats Mike!

This weekend (the 19th-20th) we'll be hitting up my our grandparaents place in PA. A good spot to start off the year. Should be good. Balboa Racing will post up an update on the reide after this weekend with some gnarly pics hopefully.
