Personal History
My name is Graham Widdicombe and I am the head of my Somerset-based family race team; TWR. We have grown to be a popular team owing to our rather unique perspective, dedication to promoting the sport and to racing across the globe. Our family have been competing together for around 10 years although I have been racing bikes and quads for over 20 years. We have walked away with numerous trophies and placed in British and US championships. I have just completed my first season in the US Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series supported by a factory Polaris quad bike team, Team UXC Racing.
Racing is a big part of our family and has kept us close. It has linked us with other families who have also made this their core. I race a Utility 4x4 quad in the US GNCC series. My wife, Becky, races a sport quad in the UK National series and our son, Sam, races a dirtbike in motocross (MX) and Cross Country (XC) in the UK and has also competed in the US for KR4 Performance.
