Personal History
I am a 19 year old mx racer from Keedysville, MD. I am a sophomore at Hagerstown Community college and I work full time in construction. This is my 6th year in motocross and I ride yz250f in the 250B/OpenB classes. I am studying to be a sports fitness trainer/rehab.
Riding Goals
I have only been on the 250f for a half season. I tried to keep going on the yz125 when I first moved up to the B class. Boy that was a mistake. Now on the 4t, I am slowly working my way forward. For 2012, I am working to establish myself as a regular midpack finisher. There are only 2 kinds of riders in the B class, FAST and FASTER. I am fast, but working on being faster. I plan to hit events at Budds Creek, Steel City, High Point as well as local tracks like Happy Ramblers and Doublin Gap.
Competitive Highlights
-I don't race for points due to scheuling conflicts. I rode great during the amateur portion of the High Point 2011 National. I got bad starts but worked my way throught the pack and battled furiously. This was good because the top 15 or so riders were using this weekend as a tune up for the upcoming LLQ regional at HP the following week. I also ran well at VMP in Richmond. I even beat some of their regulars who run very well there. I am not in a position to use my finish positions as my guage for success. My successes are based on WHO I beat and how hard I had to race to beat them.
