Personal History
My name is Taylor Irwin, I am a female and im 15 years old and I now have a 2014 KTM 250 SXF. Riding is my passion! I placed 2nd in my very first race, in the emx series! I was born in Naples, Forida, and my whole family rides dirtbikes! We moved to Austin, Texas in 2010 and invested in an outlaw RV and we bring it when we go riding/camping. My first dirtbike was a Honda crf 150f trail bike and I had it for about 8 months then I bumped up to a Ktm 250 SXF 2014. I have had my bike for about 6 months now and I love riding my bike- I named him Kent. I had my first race at Murphys July 24th and I placed 2nd. My next race will be in August 14th and I can't wait! It would be awesome to have my own sponsors other than my parents to help my riding career!
Riding Goals
Riding has been my whole life and I wouldn't trade the world for it. I hope to get to ride with the pro's someday! I have been progressing over the past year and a half that I have been riding, from riding trails with a trail bike to getting into track with my race bike and riding pretty much every weekend. I love riding with my friends that meet us out at the track, it makes us race eachother for competition! Riding is so much fun to me and the most important part about being out in the trails or track is to have fun, no matter how good or bad you do! Having fun is key and I don't plan on stop riding any time soon!
Competitive Highlights
My very first race I was in I accomplished being in 2nd place even following with a crash in the middle of the race I still got 2nd! I have been practicing at the track pretty much every weekend for upcoming races I am signing up in! Even riding in trails helps riding skills for on the track. We travel about 2 hours in our RV each time we go somewhere to ride- it is always worth the ride there! I hope to become known as a girl motorcross racer soon and for my journey of racing to reach to the next level! Riding is not just my passion, it's my lifestyle.
