Personal History

Hey, I'm Jack Hanson! I'm 6 years old from Spanish Fork, Utah. I’ve been racing since June of 2023. My love for motocross started when I got my first dirt bike for my 6th birthday on May 19th. It was a Yamaha TTR. After my parents signed me up for a local enduro race, I was instantly hooked. I couldn't wait to do another one! We then decided to try an official motocross race in Rock Springs, Wyoming. I definitely got smoked and realized I had a lot to learn, but I was addicted. Since then, I've moved up bikes, starting with my KTM 50 SX and now my Cobra CX50 FWE. I've learned so much, put in countless hours of hard work, and accomplished more than I could have imagined in such a short time. But most importantly, I've gained discipline, courage, and the drive to push myself, which are skills I can use throughout life. I'm excited to see where this sport takes me!

When I'm not on the bike, I love riding my pedal bike around the neighborhood with friends, playing Mx vs ATV, camping at our family property, and being surrounded by family.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!

Riding Goals

Riding motocross is my ultimate escape, a place where the world is silent, it’s adrenaline pumping through my veins. The freedom and exhilaration I experience on the track is unmatched. As for my goals, in the next year, I aim to improve my technique, master those challenging jumps, and compete in bigger races. I want to push my limits, inspire others, and continue to grow as a rider.

Competitive Highlights

Feeling super proud of myself right now! I've been consistent with placing in the top 5 every race. But guess what? I didn't stop there! I set some realistic goals and I smashed 'em! First goal achieved: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes. And in my recent race, I accomplished two long-standing goals: 1st place in the open for 50cc and clearing all those doubles for the entire race! My new Cobra bike gave me the power I needed to conquer those doubles. Even though I had minimal practice time on the new Cobra that I got the weekend before (thanks to Utah winter weather) I went all out and still took home 1st in the open and 2nd in my age class. Sure, I had a little wipeout, but that's just part of the fun, right?
