Personal History

My name is Taylor and I am currently 27 years old. Im obsessed with the sport of motocross and hope to take it to the pro level in WORCS and NGPC by 2021. I have had a few article mentions including SwapMoto, SwapMoto YouTube video for the TransAM, dirtastic article mention, Lady-Moto article and multiple rider spotlight posts on social media. Current sponsors include Fasthouse, PNG living, Scottmotosports, Ogio, Split Designs Co, GoPro, Acerbis, ODI, Fitaid, Thrillseekers, and Dunlop.

Background, I have been riding dirt bikes since the age of 5 and started raving on a PWEE50 at 7. I stopped riding when I was 10 and was finally able to start trial riding again at 14. From there I started on a crf150 and began racing competitively. I did my first mammoth race on a crf150 back in 2009. I then broke my back in Nov. of 2009 at 16 when racing a 250. That was a huge life experience for me as I was finally riding at my best at that time. I almost became paralyzed, had spinal cord swelling and bleeding along the canal and cord and was out from riding for over a year. It was a very long recovery to be able to do just normal tasks. When I got back onto the bike I quickly got myself onto a crf250. I did some races and got some article mentions for my results about a year later in 2011-2012 and then stopped for some time as I started the nursing program. The past few years I have been off and on of a bike and racing. Finally last year 2018 I wanted to take racing seriously again and began local races. This year I got my best score in Mammoth at 10th place despite some bad starts getting caught behind a couple accidents I was able to make the passes I needed and learned a lot from the experience. Im excited for the year to come and to really take my racing to a new level.

Riding Goals

I started racing the SRA, NGPC and WORCS racing series prior to the pandemic and plan to continue racing them in the intermediate/expert class and move to the pro class in 2021, along with regular motocross series including the swapmoto. I plan to do Mammoth again in 2021 and hopefully some regional races. I will competing for the ironman award at this years day in the dirt race and will be racing at the World Vet Nationals.
