Personal History
My name is Taylor Beckwith and I am 8 years old, from Goshen Ma. I am in the 3rd grade at the New Hingham Regional Elementary School. I started riding last summer on a TTR90 that my father got for me. After learning how to ride on that, my Dad surprised me with a 2012 KTM 65 SX! I rode the bike just as much as I possibly could, trying to get used to the power and ready for racing. My little brother also had started riding too and this spring we started to go racing on the weekends! My Dad has a busy schedule but we have managed to make it to quite a few races this season and we have been lucky enough to ride at many different tracks which helped a lot. I am getting faster with every ride and I am starting to understand how the bike works and how the smallest changes can affect my lap times and how the bike reacts to them.
Riding Goals
My brother and I are planning on running the entire series at Winchester Speedpark, both MX and SX. The main goal at Winchester is to run all the races so I can continue to improve each race and stay in the top 10 in points, or better, for the full season If I keep working hard, a championship in the 65 C 7 to 9 class is a real possibility!. Also we are planning on trying some of the J-day races, as well as some of the NEMA and NEMX races. The more tracks I can ride on, and the more riders I can race against, the faster I am going to be!
