Personal History
My name is Tatum Coriell and I’m 14 years old. I live in Ohio, and I race the Xccr and Oxcr xc series. My hobbies include volleyball, track, fishing, mtb, camping, swimming, and of course, riding. My machine is a Yamaha Raptor 125 crf150r hybrid. I ride at least 3 days each week with my little cousin and dad. We ride behind my house on our 2.7 miles woods loop and sometimes out motocross track. Also, we sometimes go down the road to our hard enduro course. We usually ride there to prep the day before race day.
I know that to be a good youth rider, you also have to balance out school work. I try very hard in school and I am proud to say that I have gotten straight A’s since 4th grade, and I earned a perfect state math score in 6th grade. I am now a freshman and I hope to keep my streak going.
I am definitely do not enjoy writing about myself, so this may not be enough info for your liking. Riding Goals
My riding goals is to be the best rider I can be. I chose riding, because it is so fun and it makes you nervous, scared, excited, and happy all at the same time, which no other sport can do for me. Some of my short term goals include winning an overall. Some of my long term goals include winning an Oxcr series in Mini Atv Sr. , then moving up to the 250-300 class, and from there to adult quads. I would like to get to the point to race a whole gncc series, and get a championship win in the series in the women’s class. Thankfully my leg is healing quickly and I may even be able to participate in the Oxcr team race, and I hope to do well in that with my dad. These are just a few of my goals, and I hope to add on and complete goals from this list.
Competitive Highlights
I have had one 1st place finish at XCCR Eastfork. I have had two 2nd place finishes, on at Xccr’s Vinton Co. Fair Grounds race, and the other at Oxcr’s Black Diamond, where I got a second in class and O/A. I have also had two 3rd place finishes, one at Xccr Cave Run, and the other at Oxcr MOB Motosports. Lastly, the remainder of my races this season I have finished in 5th place, both at Xccr’s Timber Falls.
