Personal History
I'm Tanner Ritchie. I started riding when I was 5 years old. It was just for fun back then. Around 2011, 2012 I started racing more regularly and taking things more seriously. In 2016 I gave up playing Varsity basketball, it was a hard thing to do since I had played since 6 and that was my primary sport. I gave up basketball to take Motocross more serious. This let me take trips down south in the winter to train for the upcoming season. I currently am trying to qualify for Loretta Lynn's nationals. The past couple years I have came up short, but I'm very confident that I can qualify in the 250c and 450c classes this year. No matter what happens I will always love the sport of Motocross.
Riding Goals
My goal for the 2017 season is to make it to loretta lynn nationals in the novice class, and be a fierce competitor in many of the highly classified regional events. I would like to capture the Ohio State Championship number 1 plate in the Schoolboy B/C division this year.
Competitive Highlights
Won battle for Ohio state championship series at chillitown in 250c
Won area qualifer at malvern's mideast LLQ in 250c limited, 250c (12-17) limited, and a second overall in the 450c class.
