Personal History
My name is Tad M. Lenhart. I am 23 years old and am presently on my second enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. While serving, I have been deployed to Iraq twice. It was a different but great experience for me to do. I would not ever take it back for anything. Over there you realize some of the things Americans take for granted that the Iraqis would love to have in a heart beat! After returning stateside after my second deployment, I decided that life is way to short to not do what I always wanted to do, MOTOCROSS! I went home to my great state of Michigan and purchased a 2007 YZF 450 and started to ride 2-3 days a week. Not knowing if that it would turn my life completely around! I loved going to the track and just riding my bike! I started to race 250D in the Southern Motocross Series and won the class. After that, I knew that I could do better. So I decided to bump to 250C and Open 4-Stroke. In my first part of my season, I finished 2nd in 250C and 3rd in Open 4-Stroke. I Realized I needed to step up the training to 2-4 days a week on my bike and getting on my mountain bike the rest of the week. It has helped my endurance and physical strength dramatically. Now I eat, sleep, and breath motocross! From watching Ryan Hughes instructional video to watching video clips on RacerXFilms.com. I am looking forward to the rest of my season and heading into next year preparing to try to make the area qualifier for Lorreta Lynns. Only time will tell.
Riding Goals
