Got into Moto late (about 8 years ago). Love the thrill and it helps to temper my stress when work and school pile on. Met some great people through moto. Got to see Stewart win his first 250 SX in Dallas in person. Love cars, planes, bikes...racing!I ride with a risk/reward mentality. If the reward doesn't outweigh the risk, I don't do it...usually.
Riding Goals
Overall goal: Improve every ride. This summer I was able to meet my goal of clearing every jump on my home track (Speedworld MX). Now my goal is to develop better corner speed and utilize all of my front suspension to attack the turns. I do a good bit of road cycling and I see the cardio improvement in my motos. Feels great! My next big goal will be to consistently podium 50% of my races. I find I can ride about 1-2 laps with the next level of riders, but get to a point where I'm exhausted and riding risky. I'd like to push that feeling further up my tolerance meter.
