Personal History

My name is Stryder Abel, I am 15 years old and love racing motorcross. My dad started me riding at age 5 on a Honda crf50, I then grew into a honda 70 and started racing the mini series in Huntington Ut. The next year I moved to a Kawasaki KLX 110 and finished 3rd for the year. For the next 3 years I raced on a Honda cr 85 Expert finishing 2nd and third in 2009 and 2010. In 2011 I pulled off a first place for the year and was very proud of myself. Last month we bought a KTM 144 SX and I am moving up into the next class. I plan on racing the Ironhorse raceway - CEMC series along with the USRA. I recently just completed a 2 day training course in St. George Ut with Shane Watts which improved my skills dramatically.

Riding Goals

This year I plan on working hard on improving all the skills I learned in my Shane Watts training along with personal fitness and a healthy diet. My goal is to get a podium at every race and work my way to finish first place for the year. I look foreward to another year of racing and meeting new people.

Competitive Highlights

I took 1st place overall in the Ironhorse Raceway and CECM series in 2011. The previous 4 years I managed to finish the year with a 2nd or 3rd. Last year I finished 4th place in the RMX Series.
