Personal History
I have been racing for 40 years. Started like most in the 100cc class. Road hodaka's with good success. Moved to the 250 class and them the open class on a cz 380. Raced a 250 Bultaco Pursang in 75 with great success. Road for Kawasaki City in the fall and winter of 75 to 76. Switched to a Suzuki RM 125 for 76. Did very well on that bike with many wins. Moved to a RM 250 mid year with much success. Later in the year suffered a knee injury and was out till spring. I was 6th out of all riders in Washington state in CMC points at that time. Road a Suzuki 125 for a while in 77 then took up ISDT racing. Drag raced for a year and a half. Took up MX in fall of 79 again. Raced for a few more years and had a track side parts business selling out of my box van. Then kids came and got out of it for a number of years. Had sport bikes for a while then got back into MX in 03 with a KTM 525sx. I raced that bike for 4 years and did ok. Decided to get into vintage MX. That is where my heart is. Got a 83 Husky cr250 and raced that in the plus50 evo class for 6 years. Die very well. Sold it this Summer and got a 74 husky 125sc and a 74 Bultaco 360 Pursang. Won my first race withe the husky and the Bultaco. I repair cars for a living and we were foster parents for 8years with 105 kids.
