Personal History
I am 36 years old. I am a 7 year U.S. Army Vet. I currently own and operate an Independent Insurance Appraisal Company established in 2008. I have always been an enthusiast of anything on two wheels. It begins in BMX and progressed to motocross throughout my teen years. I found myself exceeding in the BMX industry while riding for Redline throughout New Mexico and Texas. After moving north I found BMX not as popular and wanted to try my hand at motocross. I also enjoy and ride street bikes. It has just been within the past year I have begun to ride again. My attempt was to get my 14 year old nephew off the couch and interested in something. After purchasing his bike, and teaching him the in and outs and watching at the tracks as he rode I found myself wanting to ride again. I took the majority of last season to train and get comfortable on the bike again. I will be participating in the District 13 series in VA and MD, as well as the local Outlaw series. Since having an invested interest in a local MX & AX practice facility in the marking and promoting of local amateur racing (Halsteadmx.com), as well as my future racing exposure, I feel that I would be a prime candidate to promote your products and can insure they are promoted with the up most professionalism and sportsmanship.
Riding Goals
This year my plans are to participate in the District 13 spring series in at least 10 races, as well as the complete races held by Victory Sports. Since being my first year back racing, I would like to stay in the consistent top 10 in the open amateur 250 and 30+ VET class.
With 2012 winding down...I can say what an improvement from the beginning of the year. I have improved and get more confident every race!! Running in the top 10 every race.
Competitive Highlights
Since being the first year back..not much to mention at this time. I will continue to update the highlights once the season begins.
