Well I ended the Spring series in 1st by 14 points in the 30+ class and in 3rd in the 450 class. A bit of bad news, in the 5th round @ Hollister Hills on practice day (Sat) I was rippin' through the woops, started to swap, stayed on the gas and at the jump at the end of the woops I left all outta shape and went down hard, ended up fracturing my wrist. I didn't have the championship wrapped up mathmatically so race day (Sunday) I duct taped my wrist, duct taped my braces to my wrist and lined up, the rules say I had to finish 2 laps to score the least amount of points possible and walked away from the weekend w/ 30 points and the Championship, I didn't have to race round 6 so showed up to San Jose MX to collect the hardware. I probably could've taken 2nd in the 450 class had it not been for the crash. Any how, here is a cool pic,

Well round 1 of the CMC Spring Series was last weekend and everthing went awesome... Weather was perfect MX weather, track was just right and the end result was a 2-1 for me for a 1 overall in the 30+ class... That's my first ever 1st overall and I'm glad its done, now I can have more fun and not get so wound up.
Round 2 is the 27th of April and the rider who went 1-2 will have something for me I'm sure, we had 2 good clean races and I look forward to the competition in a couple of weeks.

It was a good day of ridding, T-shirt weather and 18 motos for a non-series race is a good turn-out.
I went 1-2 for a second overall in the 30+ group, hole-shot in the second moto only to get pushed off the track in turn 1. Oh well, thats racing. Still had fun and rode well with alot of freinds cheering me on, good times for sure

So last weekend was the CMC North vs. South shoot out. Mother Nature didn't do us any favors by rainning a few days before the weekend then on Saturday night after the first day of racing all the way up to the first rounds of racing on Sunday.
Saturday I went 4-5 for a 5th overall and didn't race on Sunday sicne I hadn't been racing this series and didn't feel like having to use paddle to make my way around the track. I look forward to going back to Glen Helen when we can run the whole track, should be awesome
