Personal History
I am 34 and a father of 3. I have been riding trails my entire life but have recently gotten involved in the JDay off-road series. I am loving the Camaraderie and family atmosphere. I made a ton of new friends and reconnected with some old ones. In just one year I have managed to meet just about every guy in the class along with a ton of others. Over the course of 2021, I consistently finished in the top ten in my class with full gates at almost ever round(50 riders). I was able to secure 10th overall in points for the season even after missing 2 out of the 13 rounds.
Riding Goals
I would like to spend more time working on my MX skills over the winter. I excel in the woods and the downright nasty stuff but need to work on my track speed. I plan to continue racing the JDay series for 2022 but also plan on attending NETRA harescrambles and enduro races. My goal is to consistently finish near the top of my class. After breaking my knee last fall, I have worked on my conditioning and fitness. I hope to be on the podium every weekend.
Competitive Highlights
After only one season of racing I secured tenth place overall in the C Veteran class of JDay off-road. I was able to consistently place in the top ten with multiple top 5 motos and overalls. Every weekend was a full class of 50 riders and I managed to earn my spot in the top ten through consistency and dedication.
