Oct 30 2007

Just wanted to let everyone know, that I raced in my first race ever on Sunday, Oct. 21st. It was awesome. I raced in the Beginner class and there were 6 of us total. In the first Moto, I got a really bad start. I have never started from a gate before, and I killed the bike. So I was in last place on the first lap of 5. I came through the pack to get 3rd. In the 2nd Moto, I got alot better start and was 3rd after the 1st lap. I passed my way into 2nd and stayed there for 2nd overall. I had so much fun and I cant wait for next year. I have 8 races scheduled so far.

Thank you to all of my wonderful sponsors for supporting me this year.

Well, all of the hectic stuff is now behind me. I have my first race coming up this Sunday October 21st. It is a rescheduled county fair race, that was rained out on August 5th. I am really excited and have been working hard and riding as much as possible. Hopefully things turn out great.

I will post my results on Sunday night.

Thanks for all of your help,
Steve.

Happy 4th of July everyone. I just wanted to let all of you whats been happening in my racing world. Well, I am sorry to say not much. In June, I took another job with a company that makes and hauls plastic drainage tile. The only drawback so far has been having to travel to get acquainted with different facilities and terminals. I am a diesel mechanic by trade, and there has been alot of schooling with different engine manufacturers and training with the new 2008 engines and emissions standards. This is the first weekend home since the first weekend in June.

My local track held its first race last Saturday, and I was told there were over 100 riders there and 400+ spectators. You can check out their website here:http://eaglecreekmxpark.tripod.com. The local county fairs also hold races, but I will be out of town for them also.

I would like to thank each one of you for supporting me. I am sorry that I am not racing and sincerely hope that I did not disappoint anyone. I will be able to continue racing next year. I hope all of you understand that I made this decision for the best interest of my family. I hope you all will continue to support me next year, if possible.

Thanks,

Steve Strain.
