Personal History
I have been riding for over 20 years. I competed when I was younger, but due to the trials of life I was unable to ride on a regular basis. Now that I am more established in life, I am now able to put more time into my favorite hobby. I recently got back into racing representing my department in the Police and Fire Olympics and in the Fire Police Motocross Championships.
Riding Goals
I want to finish out the Police and Fire Championship series with a top five overall. In the 2014 season, I want to bump up to novice and take gold in the Olympics and top three in the Fire Police Series.
Competitive Highlights
In June I raced the Police and Fire Olympics. This race is a big highlight for me because in January I severely broke my arm. I collided head on with another rider, while doing some trail riding. I had surgery the same day. Two weeks after surgery, I had to have another surgery. I got my cast off in mid March. From the day my cast was off I began to train. I had the goal of getting a medal in the Olympics. I am happy to have reached my goal and look forward to doing better with every race.
