Personal History

My name is Steven Machado and I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 4 years old. I first started racing when I was 16 years old. I raced the Gold Cup series in California as well as the Dealer Series. Then I began racing District 37 desert races and National Hare and Hounds. I took quite a few years off from racing, then I began racing the BITD Series, Glen Helen Endurance Series, and the District 37 Series.

Riding Goals

I won the 2021 BITD Ironman Amateur Series, I took 2nd in the 2022 BITD Expert Series, and I have been racing local District 37 AMA series races in the Vet Intermediate Class. I plan on racing more local District 37 races in the 2024 season.

Competitive Highlights

I just recently won the BITD Vegas to Reno race which was a huge accomplishment. Racing 489 miles in the Ironman Amateur class was so much fun and it put my endurance to the test. Winning the 2021 BITD Ironman Amateur Title and finishing 2nd in the 2022 BITD Expert Class are some of my best highlights.
