Personal History

Started riding street 2 years ago as a means to save gas while going to school.  I've graduated now for mechanical engineering and work as a aviation engineer but love riding to much to give it up.  Up till the end of last year I had only ridin sport bikes but started motocross with some friends and fell in love with the sport.  Riding my sport bike out in the hill country was my favorite activity in my free time until i bought my dirt bike and started racing.  Now i've all but given up riding street although I still wanna give it a shot on a race track but that will be down the road.

Right now I'm riding every weekend at a local AMA track in floresville texas and bounce around to some of the other tracks in the area to change it up a little and help improve.  Only have about 6 months of regular seat time on a motocross track, rode for a bout 2 months before I broke my shoulder in february but I did everything I could to heal fast so I could get back to riding again.  First thing I did when I was healthy enough to ride was enter my first race which was a night race on a track I had never seen before.  Kinda nerving but a lot of fun and satisfing being able to complete a race and knowing all the sweat and hurt in the months before was for a good reason.

Riding Goals

Don't have a lot of time in motocross yet but I ride every sunday and ride all day to get as much time as I possibly can.  Still learning but I ride with a bunch of good riders who are helping me out and showing me the ropes so I can hopefully get more and more competative at racing and maybe start bringing home some trophies.

Competitive Highlights

No spectacular finishes as I'm new to the sport but i've not done bad under difficult conditions.  That first race had a lot of firsts in it.  My first time to race anything motorcycle or otherwise.  I had never seen that track before plus never ridin at night let alone raced at night.  Than I turned around to race the next day at a track 4 hours away.  It was very hard and on top of that I was coming off a broken and seperated shoulder and had hardly ridin at all in the months leading up to the races but I jumped into it anyway.
