Personal History

Hi there my name is Steven Craig I am a motocross racer from Scotland and I have just recently moved to a motocross compound in innisfail QLD. I have raced motocross all my life and I am looking to make a real go of it here in Australia. I was aways a podium rider all the way through the schoolboys winning races but never quite getting a title. Also racing a year in the British youth championship, getting valuable experience and finishing in the top 10. I also raced a European race in Sweden in the 85cc class finishing 8th overall. I moved to the adult mx1 class on a 250f racing against the best in Scotland who were all on 450s and I managed a 5th overall in 2010. But after that my parents couldn't afford to pay for me to race anymore so all I could do was a couple of small club races and practice for the next couple of years. By 2013 I had myself a well payed job and was able a to buy myself a new bike, kxf250 and start racing again. I trained hard over the 13/14 winter and managed to win the 2014 mx2 Scottish championship and came runner up in the mx1(450) class. Then in 2015 I raced the British 250 2stroke championship and came runner up only due to a bike mechanical at the second round. I know it should have been my championship but that's motocross, these things happen. I'm now here in AUS and looking to make a real go of it. Living at this compound I feel it's the best chance I will ever have. I have access to a friends crf450 that I have been training on most days and in the gym everyday. with your support I know I could be very competitive here and win races. I just need that break that Iv never had. Would love to be able to show you what I can do. I have attached my results from 2009-2015 and a picture of the compound I'm living and training at.
Look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks Steven Craig
