Personal History
Steve is the Team Manager of Moto t8 a family race team. The team is made up up his son Lincoln who is a 15 year old Pro ATV Racer aboard a YFZ450 and Reagan who is a 18 yr old Ladies Beginner A rider aboard a 2020 YZ125x. Steve is a former Pro MX racer who has been away from the sport for 15 years. He returned to racing part time in 2020 aboard a Yamaha 450 and 700 ATV. In 2021 he switched full time to a Can-Am Renegade1000Xxc ATV and continued to race this quad into the 2022 season with several 1st place podiums and many other top 3 and top 5 podiums. Mid way though 2022 Steve switched from ATVs to dirt bikes in order to be able to assist with the racing career of Lincoln who had just switched to a more competitive race class. Steve brings knowledge, enthusiasm and the experience necessary to further the skills of Lincoln and Reagan as well as himself.
Riding Goals
Steve would like to finish in the Top 5 of the Amateur +40 class for the 2023 FMSQ National Cross Country Race Series. Having been away from the sport for an extended period of time will require a concentrated amount of practice and racing in order to regain the racing form which saw him at the pro motocross ranks in the mid 2000's, however his passion for riding and racing is second to none and is clearly instilled in both his son Lincoln and Daughter Reagan.
