Personal History
I competed in my first motocross race in Indiana in 1975 and continued to race until 1984, at which time I joined the Marine Corps. For the next 22 years I didn't even own a motorcycle. As my retirement from the Marine Corps approached, I decided to go back to the sport I loved so much and began riding/racing again in 2006 in Southern California. In 2012 I moved to Tennessee and continued my racing here, including some Hare Scrambles, Arenacross, Supercross and Enduro events, as well as the Amateur Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn's in 2014. In 2017 I placed 4th in the World Vet MX Championships at Glen Helen Raceway.
Riding Goals
For 2025 my goal is simply to ride/race a wide variety of events and have as much fun as possible. I am also going to compete in the VetMX National Championship for Veterans at Bar2BarMX in Kansas.
