Personal History
I started racing motocross at 9 years old loving to compete for trophies. I was very fortunate to have a successful mini career at the local and regional level. When I turned 16 I moved to the A/Pro class. It was a steep learning curve and many injuries followed. After finding my footing I decided to begin the process of turning professional in 2005. Soon after I had accumulated enough points to get my license I had a massive get off and serious spinal injuries. After some time off and a desire to compete again I started finding enough speed to entertain the idea of racing professionally. In 2011 I decided to begin training and racing Pro-Ams to prepare myself. In 2012 I was once again set to make the jump to professional after Loretta Lynn’s when I had another horrible injury dislocating an arm, both legs, and shattered the pelvis . Nerve damage made the return to such a level impossible and I hung it up. In the spring of 2021 I got the itch to qualify for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Nationals for fun. I showed up to some qualifers and somehow made it in. Been soaking up the fun ever since.
