Personal History

Hi, I'm Stephen Long, age 14, from Hammond, Louisiana. I have been riding motocross for the past three years and competitively racing for two years. My brother introduced me to this sport. My brother is 27 and is my sole support to the sport: bikes, parts, gear, races, mechanic work, and most important, motivation! The only catch is that I have to keep above a 3.0 grade point average in order to continue in riding. With in the past three years I have excelled in school and in the MX world. I have high hopes and dreams for a future in MX. My first step is to compete on a national level which is my main goal for the 2012 season. I am a very motivated racer and also have great sportsmanship. Win, loose, or draw I always have a smile and congratulate every single rider after a race. The sport of MX has some of the most generous, giving compeditors there is and I plan to play my part in this great sport. Eat, Sleep, and Breathe Motocross!!

UPDATE 09/09/2012 Reached last years goal of making it to LL regional. I have since then gotten a 06' CR125 for school boy 1 and a CRF250 for school boy 2 & 250C classes. After training all summer it's now time for the racing season to start. Looking forward to these new faster classes for this 12'-13' season! "When in doubt, throttle out".

Thanks in advance for reading over my sponsorship resume!
