Personal History
My name is Harlan. I live in Lebanon Ohio. I am 6 years old and in 1st grade. I got my PW50 when I was 19 months old and have loved riding ever since. When I am not riding my bike, I like to play with remote control cars, play baseball and just started wrestling. My Mom, Dad and I like to ride our SXS. Our favorite places to go are Black Mountain in Harlan County Kentucky, Mine Made in Leburn Kentucky and Pike County APV Area in Ohio.
Riding Goals
I love to ride. I started riding on a balance bike before I could even walk on my own. From there I started riding on my dirt bike. I also have a TTR 50 and a KTM 50 Jr. I ride with my Dad in the fields and trails behind our house. 2024 was my first year of racing. During the season, I gained more confidence in my riding. I learned how to control my bike, stand up more, manage ruts, start from the gate, passing people, started jumping and increasing my speed. Most importantly I had fun and made lots of new friends. I am planning on racing in the Winter Series at Route 62. In 2025, I would like to get more seat time, race in more races, and continue to increase my confidence and control in my riding.
Competitive Highlights
2024 was my first year of racing. My biggest accomplishment was completing each race in the Fall Buckeye Series and 2 additional races at Dirt Country in Blanchester Ohio. I raced in the PW50 class, 50 Oil Injection class and the 50 Jr class. Each race, we set a new goal; stand up more, pass someone, jump a little, go a little faster, get a better start, get another lap in. The last race at Dirt Country was the best race I have had. I placed 3rd out of 9 in the PW 50 class and 4th out of 7 in the 50 Jr class. For the next racing season, I would like to get more seat time and gain more confidence and control in my riding.
