Personal History

I started riding when I was eleven years old. My friend had an XR 80, and I wanted a motorcycle really bad. Luckily a few months later my dad was convinced. I took to it very quickly, it was natural. Soon after my dad and I both agreed it was time for a race bike. By the time I was twelve I entered my first race in the 85 senior class. My first year I got seventh in District 17 in 85 senior, and did very well in the super mini class as well. I won a few races and was getting faster every weekend. Eventually my knees couldn't take the abuse from the handlebar and it was time to get on a big bike. Once on a big bike I got really comfortable and started progressing exponentially. I was riding almost every day of the week and racing somewhere new every weekend. I eventually got another bike and started running three classes a day. That helped me speed up my pace with ease. At that point, I realized how much hard work and determination this sport takes to get on the podium. Unfortunatly at the same time my parents were going through a break up and my racing was put on the back burner. It was devastating because I was too young to support it myself, but i wanted to be there. I spent the next few years just trying to establish myself enough to get to the races. I'm at the point now where I have the strong base I need to get to the next level. With a little help my hard work and determination will pay off.

Riding Goals

There are a lot of things in the motorcycle world that I am working hard to accomplish. Aside from my job at the local dealer ship, I spend most of my time training, riding, or working on my machines. This past two years I have been injured. This last year I shattered my radius, dislocated my ulna, blew up my kidney, and put a six inch tear in my liver. The year before I had a bad concussion and broke my wrist. This winter, I am going to focus on physical training and finishing races. I'm going to attempt to qualify for the Arenacross national in Vegas this winter, and hopefully go into the outdoor season with a full head of steam. From there I would like to participate in as many Loretta Lynn qualifiers  as possible, along with the regionals. If the regional goes the as planned,  my ultimate goal this year is to race at Loretta Lynn's, and hopefully get my pro license. Those are my racing goals. As far as my goals on a motorcycle, I want to travel the country and ride anywhere and everywhere possible.

KEEP IT ON TWO WHEELS!!!!

Competitive Highlights

I started racing when I was twelve years old, on an RM 85. I went to a lot of Ponca City qualifiers, arenacross races, and state championships. I ended up seventh in IL state in 85 senior and second in points at the local track my first year. It didn't take me long after that to get on a 125, and I started traveling and getting competitive. I qualified for Ponca City regional, and went to the arenacross U.S. open in Vegas when i was 15 years old. In Vegas, during the main, I came from last, was passing for 5th, lost the front end and ended up 13th. Then I started doing a lot of fair races. I was on a roll, winning every race I entered until I suffered a broken scapula. After I recovered I ran some arenacross, then acquired a 250 and qualified 3rd for Loretta Lynn's regional. A week before my regional I hurt my hand and was unable to compete. Then I moved to Colorado established myself, and I've recently been focusing on physical fitness, consistency, and riding smoothe. Since then I have qualified for The Arenacross national in 2013. Finished top 10 with a crash, I got taken out on the last lap. The past two seasons I have been hurt but this year I am more prepared and ready to get to the next level.
