Personal History

My name is Spencer Padgett. I am 17, from North Texas. I have been riding motocross since 2010-2011ish. Back then I was rode every weekend as well as worked at a track that a family friend owned not too far away from where I live. The seat time that I had was helping me improve greatly. My skill, stamina, balance and mind-set were all increasing. In the winter of 2012 I tore my acl practicing for a race. I had surgery in the summer of 2013 and was told I wouldn't ride for at least 11 months. I finished physical therapy and was ready to get back on the bike, when a freak accident happened. I stood up out of a chair at a friends house and stepped on my leg the wrong way and I tore my acl again. I then had to have another surgery on the same knee I had just had surgery on. I thought I would never ride again. I went through physical therapy.. A lot of it, I was constantly building muscle in my legs and I was doing a lot of agility type workouts. I got my knee strengthened and was ready to ride again. I got the release from my doctor the summer of 2014. I have just started riding and racing again since about January 2015. I have had a lot of seat time and my skill is getting back to where it was. I am still hesitant at times in my head because of my injury, but more seat time will rid that fear.

Riding Goals

My goals in motocross are to make it to the pro level and become the best that I can be. I know that getting to the pro level takes a lot of hard work and dedication and I am willing to give that. Going pro has been my goal since I was a little kid. I plan to train hard and better myself to reach my goal.
