Personal History
Retired, been riding and racing for 50 plus years. Motocross, desert, mint 400, baja 500. Do most of my own work on bike, have raced from San Diego to Nevada. Living in the desert keeps me in shape for riding different types of tracks, to wide open racing.
Riding Goals
To win the over 60 championship, and soon to the Master class out right. Also to do some Nationals in hard enduro, maybe a hare and hound. Mostly race the MRANN series in Northern Nevada. Also some District 36 events. Also to be the oldest finisher at the Vegas to Reno race. Cool
Competitive Highlights
Won the CMC motocross amateur class in 1971 at the Carlsbad moto track. 10th place at the original Mint 400. DNF 1972 Baja 500. Finished top 30 in the 1970 Elsinore Grand prix the year Malcolm Smith, Steve McQueen were racing. Alot of top 10s in motocross, raced the original Hangtown race in Plymouth, CA. Have been on the line with the best from Brad Lackey to Steve Lamson. Now time to start new challenges.
