Personal History
I am 24 years old racing at a professional level and have held my AMA Pro Racing license for three years now. I grew up watching my uncle Joey chase his dreams racing the Pro Motocross National Championship circuit. Joey held his pro card for over 10 years and I got to witness him qualify straight into the motos at our hometown National in Lakewood Colorado. Joey has always been a role model and someone to look up to my whole life and he is the reason I have the goals I have today. As a motocross privateer, I have a full time career in the fire alarm industry 5-6 days a week. After work I am at the gym and when I am not at the gym I am on my YZ 450 training.
I have one of the best support systems. My girlfriend Harley is there no matter what we are doing or where we are traveling. Her and our french bulldog Mika are always ready to hop in the truck and spend the weekend in the dirt, either on a practice weekend or on a road trip to get to a national. My mom, grandma, uncle, aunt and cousins are either cheering me on at the track or over live timing. I would not be where I am without any of them.
If I am not racing in the dirt, I am racing down the 1/4 mile of a drag strip. Growing up I raced a junior dragster. In 2017 I won the Titan 16 Colorado Championship in my junior. As I have gotten older I have been fortunate enough to race a 1965 Ford Mustang that my Grandpa Joe built. If he was not helping me with motocross growing up he was working on that car. My grandpa passed away in December of 2023 and being able to continue his legacy in motocross and in drag racing means more to me than anything.
Riding Goals
I ride and race because it is in my blood. My grandfather Joe raced when he was young. When my uncle was growing up, my grandpa hung up his riding boots and became my uncle's mechanic and number 1 fan. My grandpa got to live his dreams through the eyes of my uncle. At the age of 7 it became my time for my grandpa and my uncle to live out their dreams through my eyes. I began to race and I fell in love. Motocross is not just a hobby. It's a way to push yourself to the limit and leave the world behind for a moment. It makes you feel alive and free, it's an escape from reality, a form of therapy. It's a feeling no one can take away from you. It's not just a sport it's a lifestyle. I have met some of the most important people in my life from the motocross community and I am so thankful I get to do what I love.
My goals for 2025 is to get more comfortable racing the outdoor nationals and keep pushing to make it into the moto’s. To try and help reach these goals I’d like to try and attend three rounds of Pro Motocross this year. I plan on attending the Thunder Valley National, Spring Creek National and then making the drive to the Washougal National. When I’m not chasing the Pro Motocross rounds I will put my focus on the local RMRA MX Plate series and SX rounds. The main and final goal this year is the same as every other, HAVE FUN.
